HICAP ANZ will be held from 17-19 July in Sydney.
HotelsWorld, the annual conference for hotel owners in Australia and New Zealand, will be relaunched and rebranded as part of the Hotel Investment Conference Asia Pacific (HICAP) group of events, starting next year.

The newly positioned conference will be renamed HICAP Australia New Zealand (HICAP ANZ) and will serve the hotel investment, ownership and development markets in the two countries. Next year's event will be held from 17-19 July in Sydney at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth and the offices of Co-Host, Ashurst.

HICAP announced the rebranding at its 29th annual event in Hong Kong.

Jim Burba, co-founder of Burba Hotel Network (BHN) which organises HICAP, said, "Delegates can expect to see a reshape and laser-focused programme, like HICAP in Hong Kong, designed to serve the needs of the hotel investment community in Australia and New Zealand.

"In addition to creating great content and business development opportunities at the event, we will also be aiming to bring new players to the market by shining a spotlight on the region throughout our extensive network in Asia, the Americas and Europe."

Founder and former owner of HotelsWorld John Smith, who is also the CEO of HTL Capital Advisors, added, "It's been an honour and a privilege to see this event grow over the years to become a must-attend event for hotel operators, owners, developers and brands. Becoming part of HICAP will make it even more relevant to the investment community in the region."
