One of the largest business fairs in Japan, the International MICE Expo, is scheduled to return to Tokyo on February 28.

The 27th International MICE Expo 2018, organised by the Japan Congress and Convention Bureau (JCCB) and Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), will be held at the Keio Plaza Hotel.

The show will see a gathering of convention bureaus and MICE suppliers from throughout Japan for a one-stop MICE consultation service. Delegates can expect a programme lineup including a keynote address, seminar for international conference organisers and post-conference tours.

Association meetings, corporate meetings and incentive tours are on the rise, buoyed by the rapid growth of visitors to Japan reaching 28.7 million in 2017.

The country is also scheduled to host two major sporting events in the next two years: The Rugby World Cup 2019 and The Tokyo Olympic & Paralympic Games in 2020.
