The DoubleTree by Hilton Shanghai Nanxiang opens in the city’s historic district.
The historic 1,500-year-old town of Nanxiang, Shanghai has a smart modern addition in the shape of the DoubleTree by Hilton Shanghai Nanxiang, the area's first international hotel which opened last week.

A town rich in history, Nanxiang has evolved into one of the up-and-coming business hubs in Shanghai's Jiading district. DoubleTree by Hilton Shanghai Nanxiang is ideally located near Jiading and Nanxiang industrial zones and Jiading Automobile Zone. It is also right across the Nanxiang Economic Development Zone and just 18km away from both the National Exhibition and Convention Center and Hongqiao International Airport.

Capitalising on its strategic location, Hilton's newest hotel has positioned itself as a venue perfect for business travellers and MICE groups. It offers 1,300sqm of event space, including the 750sqm pillar-less Yunxiang Grand Ballroom for up to 850 guests which can be divided further into two independent conference rooms, as well as 11 other function rooms.

The 313-room hotel also boasts a comfortable informal meeting place in the form of the Bar Lobby Lounge, which can host both cocktail sessions and afternoon tea breaks. Three restaurants offer Western, Chinese and Pan-Asian cuisine.

"With its strategic proximity to several industrial, automobile zones, and the Hongqiao transportation hub, this property is not only Jiading District's first international hotel, but is also a strong addition to the DoubleTree by Hilton portfolio, as it caters to the growing demands of the district's many business travellers," said Qian Jin, area president, Greater China and Mongolia, Hilton.
