After some extensive refurbishments and renovations, Conrad Centennial Singapore has finally announced the launch of a new event space and refreshed guest rooms and suites.

Commenting on the enhancement, Heinrich Grafe, general manager, said, "It was befitting to undergo a major redesign to stay relevant and competitive, but most
importantly, to offer our guests a rejuvenated experience."

A new event space - The Pavilion
Overlooking a relaxing outdoor pool, The Pavilion, a glass-enclosed junior ballroom, spans 234 sq m, and caters up to 140 guests banquet-style and 160, theatre-style.

It is equipped with state-of-the-art audio and visual systems, including a videowall,

Its airy, open interiors feature high ceilings offering a sense of luxury amidst the city's dynamic scene - ideal for those looking to have a small elegant wedding, reception or event. Guests can also opt to use the blinds for an intimate event.

Rooms with a new look
Working with acclaimed interior designer, Jaya Ibrahim Design, the hotel incorporated a new contemporary design in the rooms while maintaining Asian elements, such as the Peranakan-inspired patterns on the custom-made carpets.

Technology also plays a role in the new design with each room having motion sensor detectors as an environmental conservation feature. Guests can also look forward to luxurious double-vanity sinks in the marble bathrooms and thoughtful amenities such as a Nespresso machine and Conrad Pillow menu.

Of the redesigned rooms, 487 measure 40 to 43 sq m while the remaining 24 are Centennial Suites.

Also in the works is a new Executive Lounge that is scheduled to launch in the second quarter of the year.
