Dusit Thani Resort Wuzhishan, Hainan.
Last week, Dusit International signed a hotel management agreement with Sanya Taihua Industry Development Co., Ltd, to manage Dusit Thani Wuzhishan, Hainan, a luxury international resort on Hainan Island. Aside from being known as China's Hawaii, Hainan Island is also increasingly being earmarked as a region for business and industrial growth in recent years.

Located in Wuzhishan, a scenic town in the island's central highlands, Dusit Thani Resort Wuzhishan, Hainan is approximately one hour by car from Sanya Phoenix International Airport, and two-and-a-half hours from Haikou Meilan International Airport.

The resort itself will comprise 625 rooms, suites and villas. In terms of offerings, the resort features an all-day dining restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, as well as a spa. There are also expansive meeting rooms within the resort, which caters to the island's growing meetings business.

"We are delighted to work with Sanya Taihua Industry Development Co., Ltd on this beautiful project," said Lim Boon Kwee, COO, Dusit International. "Wuzhishan as a destination just keeps going from strength to strength, and we look forward to delivering a resort experience which adds to the area's appeal by delivering memorable, impressive experiences that reflect the majestic splendour of the location while having a positive local impact."
