Bruce Ryde, vice-president for luxury brands and brand marketing, Asia Pacific, Marriott International
Bruce Ryde joins Marriott International as its vice-president for luxury brands and brand marketing for Asia Pacific, based in the company's Asia-Pacific Continent office in Hong Kong. 

In his new role, Ryde will be responsible for the luxury brand strategy in the Asia Pacific, and oversee the group's luxury portfolio comprising The Ritz-Carlton, Ritz-Carlton Reserve, St. Regis, EDITION, JW Marriott, W Hotels, The Luxury Collection and Bulgari.

He will also be working in partnership with continent leadership to maximise guest experience through on-brand activations.

Ryde joins the company from InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), where he was head of luxury and lifestyle, brand & marketing for Asia, Middle East & Africa. 

He oversaw global guest experience and marketing projects for IHG, including the redesign of its Club InterContinental, as well as the Asian debuts of IHG's luxury boutique brand Kimpton and its wellness brand, EVEN hotels.
