Asia-based travel specialist Remote Lands and Luxury hospitality group Aman have announced five private jet expeditions in 2028 – and the new options may have just gotten more incentive travel friendly.

“For 2028, Remote Lands has strategically shortened its private jet expeditions... While guests still want the seamless luxury, privacy and access of a private jet journey, increasingly, busy schedules make 21-plus-day trips more difficult to accommodate. These new, more streamlined itineraries offer the same exceptional experiences with greater flexibility to add pre- or post-trip travel,” Remote Lands said in a statement.

Meanwhile, TCS World Travel recently unveiled a compact 14-day expedition departing on 19 November 2027 – connecting Japan, the Philippines, China, Turkey and Iceland. The route combines Japanese alpine landscapes, Palawan, Chengdu and Cappadocia before ending in Iceland, with an optional Kyoto extension.

For Remote Lands and Aman, the luxurious journeys for 16 to 18 guests run for 12 to 17 nights, with private jet transfers connecting destinations and access to landmarks, heritage sites and experiences that can be difficult to arrange independently.

Remote Lands and Aman are adding two new itineraries for 2028: Cultural Treasures of Asia, a 15-night journey through Japan, Cambodia, China, Bhutan and India; and From Islands to Ancient Worlds, a 17-night expedition spanning eight destinations across Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

Three returning journeys complete the programme: Discover Southeast Asia, which will operate twice in 2028, and China’s UNESCO Treasures.

Discover Southeast Asia will run from 6 to 19 February and 29 October to 11 November 2028, covering Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. Guests will stay at Amanoi, Amantaka, Amansara, Amanpuri and Aman Nai Lert Bangkok. Experiences include a traditional Baci ceremony, a helicopter flight over Angkor and private yacht cruises around Phuket and Phang Nga Bay.

From 4 to 19 March, Cultural Treasures of Asia will connect guests to Japan, Cambodia, China, Bhutan and India. The itinerary includes stays at Aman Tokyo, Amansara, Amandayan, Amankora and Amanbagh, with activities ranging from a private tea ceremony and samurai sword lessons in Japan to a helicopter visit over Angkor and a hike to Bhutan’s Tiger’s Nest Monastery. The journey culminates in Agra with a visit to the Taj Mahal.

China’s UNESCO Treasures, scheduled for 14 to 26 May, explores the country’s cultural and natural heritage through stays at Amanfayun in Hangzhou, Amandayan in Lijiang and Amanyangyun in Shanghai. Private jet stops in Xi’an and Zhangjiajie bring guests to the Terracotta Warriors and the sandstone formations of Wulingyuan. Other experiences include a champagne lunch on the Great Wall and a private cruise on West Lake.

The second new itinerary, From Islands to Ancient Worlds, runs from 4 to 21 October and spans Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, the Maldives, the UAE, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Turkey. Highlights include a private geisha evening in Kyoto, stays at Amanpulo and Amanjiwo, and a helicopter excursion from Montenegro to Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The journey ends in Istanbul.
